Hello, I'm Doğukan.
My journey is one of exploration across various fields, shaped by living on the ADHD spectrum. It all began when my childhood friend Umut and I, at the age of 11, started writing HTML and CSS on paper. This initial spark led me to discover classical music and the classical guitar, where I began composing and writing music. During high school, I fully embraced music, singing as a tenor in polyphonic choirs, and later took up the electric guitar, recording videos for my YouTube channel.
My new era in technology, rise in music.
At the same time, I delved into Linux and became an advocate for open-source software. My path took me to Muğla University, where I studied computer engineering. In 2017 and 2018, I was part of a vibrant community at the Turkey Linux Users Association’s Linux Summer Camp, where hundreds of free-spirited individuals learned about free software. There, I focused on Python and cybersecurity.
Let the professionalism begin.
Later, I founded a technology club, working on image processing and deep learning for unmanned aerial and underwater vehicles. My life took a pivotal turn when I discovered the field of product design, a passion that grew into a profession. In 2020, I landed my first job in this field. However, the pandemic changed many plans, and I decided to leave university in my third year to focus on my career.
A happy life.
Now, I’m approaching my 4th year at My Next Match as a Product Designer. Along the way, I married my wonderful wife last year, and we’ve since moved into our home in Ankara. This is my story, a blend of technology, music, and creativity, and I'm excited to continue shaping it.
